World Retail Congress Mission Statement

The World Retail Congress was launched and backed by the global retail industry in 2007 to be a powerful platform for senior retail leaders to meet to discuss the issues that were critical to all their businesses. Over the last three years, it has proved to be exactly that, with some of the biggest names and retail companies from more than 50 countries participating in open debates and sharing ideas and best practice.

Retailing is a vital part of all national and regional economies and recognising this fact, the Congress has also welcomed many national and international policy makers and senior executives from NGOs who want to hear the voice of the retail industry. But not only does the World Retail Congress serve as an essential catalyst for retailers to meet to understand the latest trends and challenges to face them, but it is also a highly effective networking event that connects retailers, brands and industry experts to help deliver invaluable and business-transforming introductions.
