Overview

Retailing is at a crossroads. Right around the world, retailers have faced unprecedented trading conditions brought about by the global recession. Recovering from that is proving to be a slow and protracted process. Couple with this is the fact that many retailers now know that the industry has to make radical changes to their offers, formats and even their business models in order to the needs of the post recession consumer.
