Launa Inman

Managing Director Target Australia

Launa Inman was appointed Managing Director of Target Australia Pty Ltd in February 2005, a leading Australian retailer, with more than 25,000 employees and 286 Target and Target Country stores across the country.

Under Launa’s leadership the company has continued to deliver year on year sales and profit growth, with annual revenue now in excess of $3.8 billion and EBIT of $357 million.

Launa holds a Bachelor of Commerce Hons and a Masters of Commerce in Strategy and Economics.  She also completed the Advanced Executive Program at Wharton Business School in 2004.

Prior to her current appointment Launa was Managing Director of Officeworks, responsible for more than 80 Officeworks Superstores and Officeworks BusinessDirect stores across Australia. Launa introduced fashionability to office products, and in turn established market-leading product differentiation.

Launa brings an extensive range of international retail knowledge and experience to her current position.  Prior to joining Target and Officeworks, Launa held senior leadership roles in Australia’s Big W and with large South African based retail companies Pages and Edgars.
