CEO Kingfisher Ian Cheshire joined Kingfisher as Director of Strategy and Development where he handled the group role in strategy and acquisitions. From there, Ian progressed to Chief Executive, e-Kingfisher where he was responsible for all the group’s multichannel operations, including B&Q, Comet, Screwfix and Darty. He was appointed as an Executive Director of the Main Board in June 2000 and was Chief Executive of Kingfisher’s International & Development division from 2002 to June 2005 before becoming CEO of B&Q. He was made CEO of Kingfisher late January 2008. |
