World Retail Congress connects with retail leaders around the world, all year round. Regular meetings occur across the globe and previous destinations have included Madrid, Istanbul, Paris, Dubai, New York, Sao Paolo and Berlin. This is just a selection of photos from a special breakfast meeting held in New York this May. Some of the leading names in US retailing gathered at New York's Harmonie Club to honour Burt Tansky, Chairman of Neiman Marcus and one of the 2011 inductees for the World Retail Hall of Fame. Called "Mr Luxury" for his decades of experience of the department store and luxury market, Burt Tansky was joined 40 retail friends and supporters including:
