A whistle-stop global tour of the effect that the global health crisis has had on retail and the way shops look and behave. From drive-throughs, to acrylic screens, much has become familiar in a very short time, but it is enough to keep store workers and shoppers safe and to convince the doubters that it is worth crossing any retailer's threshold? Is what has been done the shape of things to come and does it all mean fewer, but different stores? As ever, there is no certainty about anything, but there are some common threads which do point towards the future and how it will be mapped out.
