Elen has worked in the Beauty Industry for over 15 years in a variety of roles from brand development to commercial, at both global and local levels. She began her career at L’Oreal in London working in the Consumer Products Division across household names such as Maybelline, Garnier and L’Oreal Paris. While General Manager for L’Oreal Paris in the UK, Elen signed Dame Helen Mirren as brand spokesperson for the award-winning Perfect Age campaign, celebrating women over 60. Elen joined The Body Shop in November 2015. As UK Marketing Director she oversaw a significant shift to leveraging the Consumer Database to create more personalised, relevant content for our customers. Following a year as Global Brand Director, she has recently taken on the launch of the new Global Customer Function with the objective of optimising The Body Shop’s Go To Market strategy. Outside of work Elen is an active member of her local community: she was a Trustee of her local park before setting up a Parent Teacher Association for her local school. Elen has two young daughters and lives in South London.
