JJ has led and successfully delivered 5 large and complex digital transformation for established brands like Tesco, Lego, Travis Perkins, Kingfisher plc (B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama, Brico Depot) and the large German Grocery & Tourism Group called Rewe-Group (75 Bn Euros). He also advises private (equity) clients. His digital agenda encompasses Digital marketing, data (science), e-commerce, technology, marketplaces and M&A of start ups. The transformations require in depth Organisational design, talent selection and growth, cultural changes to gain agility and deep knowledge of channel and customer profitability as well as judicious capital allocation choices. In 3 years, he doubled e-commerce participation at Kingfisher (8 to 16%), launched several successful marketplaces (incl. diy.com), brought speed in delivery for Screwfix and left a deep legacy in data science with deep commercial impact.
