Chief Customer Officer, Rainbow Smile Health and Beauty

Maria Mironovskaya is chief customer officer and member of board at Rainbow Smile, a leading Russian health & beauty retailer. She currently leads customer journey transformation from 800 of Rainbow Smile brick & mortar stores scattered across vast territories of European Russia, to convenient mobile-first omni-channel ecosystem. The recently introduced mobile app, in-store ‘omnichannel corner’ and home delivery services, fully integrated with SAS-based loyalty program, are rapidly winning customers’ appreciation.

Prior to focusing on omnichannel transformation, Maria served as chief sales and marketing officer for Rainbow Smile. In 2016 she launched the multi-format approach, allowing flexible store assortment and design to match variable customer needs in diverse Russian regions and to enhance in-store customer experience. These innovations resulted in multiple Customer’s Choice national and international awards for Rainbow Smile. Maria’s passion for corporate social responsibility and healthy lifestyle led to Rainbow Smile corporate movement “Run with a Smile”, encouraging thousands of customers and employees to take on running for social fundraising. Rainbow Smile is a proud supporter of the homeless charity “Nochlezhka” and of the only Russian social rehabilitation center for ASD students.

Earlier in her career, Maria served as commercial director for the Russian subsidiary of the health & beauty retailer A.S. Watson.

Previously, she worked in the automotive retail as senior Ford brand director for the leading Russian multi-brand auto dealership ROLF group, leading her team to win the European Ford Chairman’s Award for customer service for four consecutive years, and making ROLF the leader of the Russian Ford sales & service market.

Maria graduated with a degree in applied linguistics from the St. Petersburg State University, focusing on speech recognitition and automated translation algorythms. She afterwards returned to the Graduate School of Management of her alma mater for a master’s degree in management, earning a federal presidential scholarship.

Recently Maria enhanced her knowledge of machine learning and AI through completing the SAS business intelligence & analytics course at the SAS Academy in Moscow.

A strong believer in the power of teams and inclusion, Maria strives to make Rainbow Smile a supportive and creative collaboration of customers and employees for the better future.
