One of The Kooples Co-founders, Nicolas Dreyfus has driven the stellar development of the brand with Emmanuel Stern and three Elicha brothers, the Artistic Directors of the House, since the beginning in 2008.
Running all business operations, they have identified and implemented key strategic turning points for the French fashion House. This unique organization, which considers management as a key success factor for the brand along with product development and artistic sensitivity, has driven increasing performance and expansion of the retail and wholesale networks both at home and internationally.
Prior to 2008, Nicolas Dreyfus worked in product and business development at A.P.C and as a Retail Project Manager at Hermès New York. His understanding of what makes a great product has naturally led Nicolas to involve himself in creative design and product development, alongside his talented and passionate teams. By providing daily guidance on designs, purchasing, merchandising and architecture, Nicolas reconciles a vivid artistic inspiration with financial sustainability and success. His profound knowledge of the French and foreign markets have also allowed him to oversee the management of retail, wholesale, outlet and e-commerce networks, leading to the rapid and secure expansion of The Kooples.
Nicolas’ careful observation of fashion and innovative management of the creative process have transformed a family business into a leading player in the feminine and masculine apparel market.
