Renaud began his career in the Schneider Group as an R&D engineer. In 1988, he joined the consulting firm Eurosept, where he became a partner in charge of SAP Supply Chain activities. In 1995, he joined the EDS Group (Electronic Data Systems) where he successively performed several functions, including VP at AT Kearney and CEO of KearneyInteractive (EDS subsidiaries)

In 2002, he was appointed Director of Information Systems for the EDF Group, in charge of strategic management of Information Systems, IT and Telecommunications. In 2008, he joined the THALES group as Group Information Systems Director to tackle the challenges of pooling of information systems, the consolidation and modernisation of infrastructures, the development of shared services by country, support for engineering, in a context of strong security requirements. Since 2015, he has held the position of Director of Information Systems France within the Carrefour Group.

Renaud is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées and the American University of Carnegie-Mellon (M.S.).
