Valeria Mazza is the most important model in Argentine history. In addition to her modelling success, Valeria is International Ambassador of the Special Olympics, godmother of University Hospital Austral de Pilar and an entrepreneur with her own brand of accessories "Valeria Mazza Design".
Valeria was born in Rosario, Santa Fe, in 1972. At 17, she moved to Buenos Aires, where she began her studies in Occupational Therapy and began to work as a model. In 1992 Valeria Mazza joined the supermodel group - along with Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss - and had the opportunity to work with designers such as Versace, Armani, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior and Valentino. She was featured in advertising campaigns for the likes of Guess, Escada, Chanel Allure, and has worked with photographers such as Bensimon, Ritts, Demarchelier and Meisel. Valeria graced the cover of more than 350 magazines around the world and carried out more than 30 TV commercials for brands such as San Pellegrino, Pepsi and Falabella. In 1996 The Sunday Times and El Mundo carried out a survey to choose the 100 most outstanding women of the twentieth century. Only the names of two models made list: Valeria Mazza and Claudia Schiffer.
Her influence as a reference in the world of fashion reached a mass audience through her collaboration as an opinion columnist in the magazine Viva and newspaper Clarín. Valeria was a MTV Latino host for three seasons, and led some of Italy's highest rated shows including: Domenica In, San Remo Festival, Scommettiamo Che?, and Come Sorelle. In Buenos Aires she participated in the Versus series with a segment of international interviews, and also led her own series, Tonight I Invite You.
In addition, Valeria has become a successful businesswoman with her own line of perfumes (VM Beauty), her magazine (Valeria Mag) and her brand of glasses (Valeria Mazza Eyewear). In 2017 she took another step in her career as designer of her own brand of accessories "Valeria Mazza Design" with Starlite Shop.
Valeria Mazza has always given a lot of importance to giving back; from the age of 13 she collaborated with the New Special Olympics Foundation, whose founder named her International Ambassador in 1993. In 2005 the Austral University Hospital named her godmother of her pediatric area of high complexity. Also in 2007, Valeria participated in the first parade against anorexia, held in Milan, Italy.
