Wayne has in excess of 16 years' experience as an equity research analyst covering the broad consumer sector. In this time he has covered both the Leisure, Retail and Staples sectors specialising in branded concepts, roll-out models and structural growth stories. Having worked through multiple cycles experience in both primary (multiple IPO’s) and secondary (corporate broker and advisory roles) roles have been enhanced by taking a pro-active role in corporate development alongside building strong franchises through a relationship based philosophy. We align ourselves with strong brands in structurally favourable routes to markets and have weighted our research coverage universe to the New World of Retailing thereby aligning our strategy with those of our clients to maximize long term returns. Wayne is originally from South Africa having moved to the UK after the completion of his Accountancy and Economic degrees in Johannesburg.
