Merel Werners is a global marketing and brand strategist born in the Netherlands who has lived in Suriname, Belgium, the UK and Spain.

She brings over 30 years of corporate experience working with sports, fashion and lifestyle brands at EMEA headquarters level. For 25 of those years, she was part of EMEA leadership teams in senior commercial and marketing roles at K-SWISS, Calvin Klein and Havaianas.

Since February 2024, she has been running her own advisory, ME-WE STUDIO, providing brand, product and marketing support to companies in the fashion and lifestyle sectors.

Merel is also a regular public speaker at industry events, an adjunct professor at IE Business School in Madrid, and an executive coach at Mentally Fit Institute.
